Job Title: Grinder Operator
Location: Holland, MI
Shift: 1st shift 7am-5:30pm Monday-Friday
Pay Rate: $18/hr
Position Summary:
The Grinder Operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring grinding machines to shape and finish parts according to specifications. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor manual and/or CNC grinding machines.
Interpret blueprints, work instructions, and specifications to ensure accuracy.
Inspect parts during and after grinding to verify quality standards.
Perform equipment adjustments, cleaning, and routine maintenance.
Record production data and complete quality documentation.
Follow company safety policies and wear proper PPE at all times.
Work with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required.
Prior grinding, machining, or manufacturing experience preferred (training available).
Ability to read blueprints and use measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset.
Reliable attendance and solid work ethic.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
