 Location 
 This role is based in Sacramento, California at our headquarters in Old Sacramento. However, we are also accepting applicants living in Orange County, California. 
 But we can assure you, Sacramento & Orange County won't be the only place you'll work. 
 We host frequent trips during the year to bring our whole team together for extended periods of face-to-face time to build deeper relationships. 
 Some examples of trips include our domestic excursions to San Diego, Newport Beach, and Lake Tahoe. Along with international trips to Mexico, Costa Rica, and Belize. 
 Primary Role 
 This will be a hybrid role supporting a growing, fast-paced finance team with end-to-end accounting functions, month-end close processes, reconciliation, assisting in order processing and collection, and providing support to the finance team. 
 Strong analytical, communication, and technical skills are essential for this role. 
 Responsibilities  Accounting Functions: -  Journal Entry and Reconciliations: Record journal entries based on supporting documentation, review account balances and post required adjustments. 
-  Accounts Payable: Facilitate on time payments to vendors. 
-  Order processing and A/R collections: Manage the end-to-end customer manual order process, from order entry to timely receipt of payment. 
-  Travel & Expense Management: Aid in administering T&E interface to ensure on time submission and approval of staff spending. 
-  Corporate Card Management: Manage employee accounts within corporate card travel programs and procurement card programs. 
-  Maintain General Ledger and Records: Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts. Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for all financial transactions and activities. 
-  Audit Support: Prepare schedules, documentation, and reconciliations as requested for internal/external audits. 
Financial Analysis & Reporting-  Prepare reports: Compile and create financial reports, graphs, and charts to communicate financial information to various stakeholders. 
-  Analyze financial data: Employ data analysis tools and methodologies to examine financial statements, reports, and other data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement. 
-  Budgeting and forecasting: Contribute to the budgeting and forecasting process by gathering data and developing financial models. 
-  Financial modeling: Build and maintain financial models to support decision-making and planning. 
-  Variance analysis: Investigate and explain variances between actual results and planned or expected results. 
Additional Responsibilities-  Financial system maintenance: Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data within relevant systems. 
-  Ad hoc analysis: Conducting ad hoc analysis as needed to support various business initiatives. 
-  Special projects: Participating in special projects assigned by management.

 Preferred Skills & Qualifications -  Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. 
-  2–5 years of experience in a similar accounting or financial analyst role. 
-  Strong knowledge of GAAP and core accounting principles. 
-  Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic, hybrid work environment. 
-  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail 
-  High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong experience with financial systems. 
-  Experience with ERP and finance systems such as NetSuite, Concur, Tableau, HubSpot, and other reporting or data visualization tools preferred. 
 Salary & Benefits 
-  $75,000 – $100,000 annually. Opportunity for growth and bonuses.
