PARK MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR – ORANGE COAST DISTRICT / SOUTH SECTOR / SAN CLEMENTE STATE BEACH

The reporting location for this position is San Clemente State Beach in San Clemente, CA. This position will work under the general direction of State Park Superintendent III.   

The Park Maintenance Supervisor (PMS) will supervise San Onofre State Beach Maintenance Functions and may be asked to assist other South Sector Units. The PMS will perform supervision of permanent and seasonal staff, camp host and court referral volunteers, facility maintenance, landscaping and housekeeping duties, refuse disposal duties, equipment management, erosion control, vegetation management, project oversight, service and public works contract specifications development, purchasing, safety inspections, employee development / training, and participation in the development of the various maintenance budgets.

Training and Development Assignments may be considered.

Possession of a valid Class C driver’s license is required. You must answer the questions addressing your driver’s license on your application. Ensure you provide your driver’s license number, class, expiration date, and any endorsements and/or restrictions on your application.

The selected candidate is required to submit to a background investigation process utilizing Live Scan fingerprinting prior to appointment.

This position is designated as not telework eligible.

Special Requirements
