Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. We are currently expanding our in-person team and seeking a qualified Physician Assistant (PA) to support our clinical providers in delivering exceptional gastroenterology care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive in-person patient assessments
  • Assist with GI-focused treatment plans under physician supervision
  • Document clinical notes in the EMR
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests
  • Educate patients on treatment options and follow-up care
  • Collaborate closely with dietitians, physicians, and support staff
  • Maintain high standards of professionalism and patient confidentiality

Requirements:

  • Current Physician Assistant license in the state of New York
  • Experience in Gastroenterology preferred but not required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable using EMRs and digital tools
  • Medicaid credentialing (or willingness to become credentialed)
  • Must be available to work on-site , minimum 20 hours/week
  • Ability to commute to one or more of our Brooklyn or Inwood locations

Compensation & Schedule:

  • Pay: Competitive, based on experience (please confirm your target range)
  • Schedule: Per diem / Part-time (20–30 hours/week)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with underserved communities
  • Foreign language skills a plus
  • Prior integrative or functional medicine exposure a bonus

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $51,625.53 - $62,172.68 per year
