**Overview**
GovCIO is currently seeking a Project Manager to become a subject matter expert on our Team. This position is fully remote, full time and available to candidates within the Continental United States (CONUS).
**Please note** : The contract has not been awarded; this position remains unfunded and is contingent upon the award of the contract.
**Responsibilities**
GovCIO is seeking a candidate for the position of Project Manager to support the Department of Veterans Affairs BAM Portfolio. The Project Manager will be a hands-on leader who will be responsible for day-to-day direct oversight of 1+ application sustainment/enhancement project(s).
+ Responsible for the direct oversight of legacy system sustainment/enhancement/adaptive maintenance project, including the supervisory responsibilities for multiple lead roles.
+ Responsible for leading the team in requirements gathering, enhancements, releases etc. and ensuring completion of contract deliverables.
+ Ensure Agile/Scrum techniques are being utilized and the project is managed following an Agile Methodology.
+ Responsible for proactive risk management and ensuring all risks are escalated to the appropriate persons.
+ Engage with stakeholders at all levels, creating tactics to establish and maintain appropriate stakeholder engagement.
+ Engage with the team to ensure they stay motivated, proactive, and focused.
+ Ensure organized change management throughout the life of the project.
+ Ensure all project needs are met and escalate blockers to program management.
+ Participate in interviewing/hiring of replacement or new employees, where appropriate.
+ Responsible for the career growth and performance evaluations of all direct reports
**Qualifications**
**Required Skills and Experience**
+ Bachelor's with 2-5 years (or commensurate experience)
+ Experience leading a team in an IT system environment
+ Experience managing a Scrum/Agile team with experience using Jira
+ Experience working with customer to establish requirements, PI Planning and seeing a project move through the software development lifecycle
+ Strong problem solving skills
+ Competence in Microsoft Suite
+ Strong verbal and written skills
+ Positive attitude and willingness to step in, where needed
**Preferred Skills and Experience**
+ Experience working with the VA
+ Experiencing overseeing multiple projects simultaneously
+ Experience supporting program goals
+ Experience collaborating with other project leaders
**Clearance Required:** Ability to obtain and maintain a Suitability/Public Trust clearance.

Posted Pay Range
The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
**Posted Salary Range**
USD $105,000.00 - USD $120,000.00 /Yr.
