Acutronic is looking for a Test Engineer Intern to join our team in Austin, TX. In this role, you will assist in the Test Engineers in the testing and validation of . This role will provide you with the opportunity to apply your academic knowledge in a real-world setting, working alongside experienced engineers and contributing to exciting projects.

Test Engineer Intern

Your Roles/Responsibilities:

  • Record and document data and results of all testing performed
  • Collaborate with applicable engineers to define acceptance criteria and limits
  • Monitor production controls and measures for existing and new products
  • Execute testing and validation/qualification of products per the defined procedures
  • Create and maintain appropriate documentation including, but not limited to: traceability materials/certifications, workflows, and quality records

Your Profile/Qualifications/Skills:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field with at least two years completed at an accredited college or university
  • Strong academic performance, with a minimum GPA of 3.0 in engineering courses
  • Basic understanding of engineering principles and testing methodologies
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative as well as participate as part of a team
  • Multi-tasking ability

We offer standard products and excel at designing highly customized solutions for demanding mission requirements.
